People make efforts to gratify their desires, but it is difficult to accumulate treasure from the physical, external world. On the other hand, when you see the inner world, you will come to realize you have been endowed with freedom to fulfill the self. While fulfillment of the true self is the most necessary and most important aspect of human life, it is not going too far to say that it is almost impossible for individual effort to achieve fulfillment of the true self.

You think that you see things with your eyes. Behind the physical eyes lies the mind's mirror, with which you understand the world. When this mirror is distorted and blurred by evil causes, you cannot see things as they really are. These evil causes include the influence of physical and social surroundings, behavior, and bad karma that has been inherited from one's ancestors. Because of these spiritual obstructions, many people inaccurately evaluate things and cannot recognize their true nature. As a result, no matter how hard they try, very few realize success in life and fulfill their true selves. The distortions and smudges on the mind's mirror are the real reason people cannot do things as they wish.

Only when you are freed from the evil causes that have warped and stained the mind's mirror and try anew with a clear mind can you achieve the intended result and reach fulfillment of the true self. It is the power of justice that is necessary to correct the deteriorated mind's mirror. Moreover, the power must be hundreds of times stronger than the power that first warped the mind's mirror. It is the power of the God incarnate. Suppose there is a disk on which a bad song was recorded. To change this song into a good one, it has to be recorded again with a power which is many times greater than the original power it took to record the poor version.
